Montana Credit Union Network
The Montana Credit Union Network provides an important role in ensuring the sustained health of Montana's credit unions. The Montana Credit Union Network promotes and advances continued growth by supporting member credit unions in meeting their members' needs through the provision and generation of advocacy, education, information, and leadership.

The Montana Credit Union Network and its affiliate credit unions are part of a state-wide credit union financial support system, providing people from all walks of life with necessary financial services, products and support.

Montana’s Credit Unions are safe, sound, and federally insured
Economic uncertainty and turmoil in the financial markets is causing consumers great concern. Montana’s consumers can continue to rely on their credit unions for three basic reasons.

1.All of Montana’s credit unions are all federally insured by a fund that, like the FDIC, is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government. The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) provides the same level of insurance on credit union accounts as the FDIC does for bank accounts.

2. Montana’s credit unions are healthy, with strong balance sheets.

3. Because we are member-owned and not-for-profit cooperatives, we exist to serve our members. Credit unions have and continue to lend responsibly; we offer Montanans a safe, stable place to put their savings; and because we’re not-for-profit, we work hard to keep our fees low and our rates high.

If you’re concerned, consider a credit union
